Dear Parents/Guardians, RE: Permission for External Maths Tutor and Extension to Assist Students At Clearview Christian College, we are committed to providing our students with the best possible learning opportunities. To further support our students in their mathematical development, we are delighted to introduce Mr Glenn Devir, a member of the community with extensive experience in maths tutoring and class support. Glenn has provided one-on-one tutoring to over 50 high school students in the Gladstone area over the last 8 years. His tutoring has covered exam and assessment material for Maths (all years and levels, including Specialist), Physics and Chemistry, for both public and private schools. Glenn has also tutored primary school, University and bridging course students, and has helped several students diagnosed with learning difficulties to achieve success. Mr Devir will be assisting students during the following times: Monday: Year 8: Period 3 Year 9: Period 4 Year 10: Period 5 First and Second Break - Year 10 and 11 (including distance education students) Students involvement in this supplementary support aims to provide additional guidance and encouragement to enhance students’ understanding and confidence in Mathematics. To ensure your child can participate in these sessions (tutoring/support/extension) with Mr Devir, we kindly ask for your permission. All necessary checks, including Working with Children Clearance, have been completed to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. If you consent to your child receiving maths tutoring/support/extension from Mr Devir, please complete the form below by Monday 9rd February.
